Bapu Padmanabha
Bapu Padmanabha, also known as Bapu Flute, is a musician and composer who performs Hindustani classical music on his bansuri, a type of bamboo flute. He was born on 18 November 1978 in Harihar which is in Davanagere District of Karnataka state in India. Musical style and impact Adept in Hindustani Classical Music, Mantra Chantings, New Age, Film Score, Ambient Music, and World Music, Bapu is noted for composing music for the National Award Winner film Allama and Bapu's love for experimenting with Mantra sounds. Harihara ( also called ''Harihar'') is a city in Davanagere District in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is the administrative headquarters of the Harihara Taluk. Lahari Recording Company is an Indian music company based in Bangalore. It owns a music label called "Lahari Music" also a film production company called "Lahari Films LLP". They later ventured into construction under the name of HomEquity India Private Limited brand. History The company was established in 1974 by Manohar Naidu with a seed capital of Rs.500. Davanagere district is an administrative district of Karnataka state in India. It is the centre of Karnataka. The city of Davanagere is the district headquarters. Bansuri
A bansuri is an ancient side blown flute originating from the Indian subcontinent. It is an aerophone produced from bamboo and metal like material used in Hindustani classical music. It is referred to as ''nadi'' and ''tunava'' in the ''Rigveda'' and other Vedic texts of Hinduism. Its importance and operation is discussed in the Sanskrit text ''Natya Shastra''. A ''bansuri'' is traditionally made from a single hollow shaft of bamboo with six or seven finger holes. Some modern designs come in ivory, fiberglass and various metals. The six hole instrument covers two and a half octaves of music. The ''bansuri'' is typically between and in length, and the thickness of a human thumb.
