Banzai Girl
''Banzai Girl'' is a full-color comic book series created, written and drawn by Jinky Coronado. The series was originally published by Sirius Entertainment with the first volume's full-color trade released by Sirius Entertainment in 2005. A black-and-white manga expanded version of that material was released by Arcana Studio Arcana Studio is a Canadian animation studio in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Founded as a comic book publisher by former Coquitlam, British Columbia school teacher Sean O'Reilly in 2004, in 2012 Arcana opened its animation division. Sirius Entertainment
Sirius Entertainment was an American comic book company which operated from 1994 to 2007. Sirius Entertainment was founded by Robb Horan, Joseph Michael Linsner, and Larry Salamone, Fassbender, Tom. "A Sirius Interview: With Two Sirius Guys," '' Capital Comics Internal Correspondance'' (May 1995), pp. 1–3. and was dedicated from the outset to publishing creator-owned properties. Originally based in Stanhope, New Jersey, Sirius later moved to Unadilla, New York. Sirius published popular titles such as Linsner's ''Dawn'', Drew Hayes' ''Poison Elves'', Mark Crilley's ''Akiko'', Jill Thompson's '' Scary Godmother'', and Mark Smylie's epic fantasy '' Artesia''. Linsner left the company around 2001. In the early 2000s, Sirius signed a bookstore distribution agreement with Diamond Comic Distributors.

Arcana Studio is a Canadian animation studio in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Founded as a comic book publisher by former Coquitlam, British Columbia school teacher Sean O'Reilly in 2004, in 2012 Arcana opened its animation division. Overview Arcana is Canada's largest publisher of comics and graphic novels, with over 300 titles in its library covering all genres and age groups. Arcana's titles have been translated into different languages, including French, Italian, Greek, Spanish and Polish. Arcana formed in 2004 when Sean O'Reilly first published and wrote the comic book series ''Kade'' starting with Kade #1. Sean wrote the issue, with artist Eduardo Garcia drawing and coloring the series. With Diamond Comics as the distributor, Arcana's first comic went on shelves December 31, 2003. Comic Book
A comic book, also called comicbook, comic magazine or (in the United Kingdom and Ireland) simply comic, is a publication that consists of comics art in the form of sequential juxtaposed panels that represent individual scenes. Panels are often accompanied by descriptive prose and written narrative, usually, dialogue contained in word balloons emblematic of the comics art form. "Comic Cuts" was a British comic published from 1890 to 1953. It was preceded by "Ally Sloper's Half Holiday" (1884) which is notable for its use of sequential cartoons to unfold narrative. These British comics existed alongside of the popular lurid "Penny dreadfuls" (such as "Spring-heeled Jack"), boys' " Story papers" and the humorous Punch (magazine) which was the first to use the term "cartoon" in its modern sense of a humorous drawing.
