Beirut Stars Sporting Club (), formerly Bank of Beirut Sporting Club ( ar, نادي بنك بيروت الرياضي) is a futsal club based in Beirut, Lebanon. Founded in 2020, it is the successor to the futsal club founded in 2013 as Bank of Beirut. The club has won five Lebanese Futsal League titles, four Lebanese Futsal Cups, and three Lebanese Futsal Super Cup, and have came in third place in the 2018 edition of the AFC Futsal Club Championship. History Founded in 2013, Bank of Beirut SC was sponsored by Bank of Beirut and have won the Lebanese Futsal League five times. They became the first Lebanese futsal team to achieve a treble, winning the League, Cup, and super cup in the 2014–15 season. On 9 July 2020, due to the economic crisis in Lebanon, Bank of Beirut stopped their futsal activities. On 8 October 2020, Beirut Stars SC bought the license of the dissolved club. Futsal is a football-based game played on a hard court smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football and indoor football. 2015 AFC Futsal Club Championship
The 2015 AFC Futsal Club Championship was the 6th edition of the AFC Futsal Club Championship, the annual Asian futsal club championship organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The tournament was held in Isfahan, Iran between July 31 and August 7, 2015. Qualified teams A total of 12 teams from 12 Asian Football Confederation, AFC member associations participated in the tournament. Tasisat Daryaei FSC, Tasisat Daryaei of Iran, as the representatives of the host association, and Nagoya Oceans of Japan, as the defending champions, automatically qualified for the finals. The 2019 AFC Futsal Club Championship was the 10th edition of the AFC Futsal Club Championship, an annual international futsal club tournament in Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). It was held in Bangkok, Thailand between 7–17 August 2019. Mes Sungun were the defending champions, and were defeated by Nagoya Oceans in the final. The 2017 AFC Futsal Club Championship was the 8th edition of the AFC Futsal Club Championship, an annual international futsal club tournament in Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). It was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from 20 to 30 July 2017. The tournament was won by Chonburi Bluewave from Thailand after defeating Giti Pasand Isfahan from Iran 3–2 in the final. The win was Chonburi Bluewave's second Asian title, following after they won the 2013 AFC Futsal Club Championship four years ago.
