2019 AFC Futsal Club Championship
The 2019 AFC Futsal Club Championship was the 10th edition of the AFC Futsal Club Championship, an annual international futsal club tournament in Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). It was held in Bangkok, Thailand between 7–17 August 2019. Mes Sungun were the defending champions, and were defeated by Nagoya Oceans in the final. Teams Of the 47 AFC member associations, a total of 16 associations teams entered the competition, each entering one team. There was no qualification, and all entrants advanced to the final tournament. Fifteen of the sixteen associations which participated in the 2018 AFC Futsal Club Championship returned for 2019, with Kuwait entering a representative for the first time since 2015, and replacing the Australian representatives. 2017 AFC Futsal Club Championship
The 2017 AFC Futsal Club Championship was the 8th edition of the AFC Futsal Club Championship, an annual international futsal club tournament in Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). It was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from 20 to 30 July 2017. The tournament was won by Chonburi Bluewave from Thailand after defeating Giti Pasand Isfahan from Iran 3–2 in the final. The win was Chonburi Bluewave's second Asian title, following after they won the 2013 AFC Futsal Club Championship four years ago. Nagoya Oceans from Japan were the defending champions, but they failed to qualify from the 2016–17 season of Japanese futsal league following their loss to Shriker Osaka for the Japanese champions. Qualified teams A total of 14 teams from the 14 of the 47 AFC member associations entered the tournament, which included first-time entrants from Tajikistan. Al Rayyan Futsal Team is part of Al Rayyan Sports Club in Qatar. It is based in Umm Al Afaei, Al Rayyan. The team was founded in 2006. Since the Qatar professional futsal league started in 2006/2007, Al Rayyan were the main force in Qatar. They won the first Qatar professional league when it first started in 2006/2007. The Lebanese Futsal League ( ar, دوري كرة القدم الخماسية اللبناني) is the top league of futsal in Lebanon. There are 12 teams competing in the league, which operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Lebanese Futsal League Second Division.
