Bangur Avenue is a locality in South Dumdum Municipality of North 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Kanchrapara is a city and a municipality of North 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal.It is also known as the mini Kolkata of West Bengal. History From early historical period, geographically, this area had been full of swamps, natural riverine lake, low land, water bodies sparse village-settlements surrounded by deep jungle infested with wild animals of all kinds. Bidhannagar Road (Bengali: বিধাননগর রোড) is a Kolkata Suburban Railway junction station on the Sealdah–Ranaghat line. It is linked to the Sealdah South lines via Sir Gurudas Banerjee Halt railway station. It is located in Ultadanga, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. VIP Road
VIP Road (officially Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue) is a major thoroughfare connecting the city of Kolkata with Dumdum/Kolkata Airport. Located in the North-Eastern outskirts of the city, it was built in 1962 to provide speedy connection with the city and its sole airport. VIP Road is part of State Highway 3. To reduce traffic jams especially in the crossings of Kestopur and Baguiati, a flyover is constructed over the stretch between Dum Dum Park and Raghunathpur, which opened in March 2015.
