Bangsar LRT Station
Bangsar (or Bank Rakyat-Bangsar for sponsorship reasons) is a light rapid transit (LRT) station on the Kelana Jaya Line located at Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. It is an elevated station exactly located above Jalan Bangsar. Although it is located at Jalan Bangsar, it is located at quite a distance from most parts of Bangsar, namely Bangsar Baru. Station Naming Rights Program Formerly known as Bangsar since its operation on September 1, 1998, the station was renamed to Bank Rakyat-Bangsar after Bank Rakyat was given naming rights by Prasarana Malaysia. It is the first three stations under pilot program of Station Naming Rights since launched in October 2015. Light Rapid Transit
A medium-capacity system (MCS), also known as light rapid transit or light metro, is a rail transport system with a capacity greater than light rail, but less than typical heavy-rail rapid transit. MCS’s trains are usually 1-4 cars, or 1 light rail vehicle (LRV). Most medium-capacity rail systems are automated or use light rail type vehicles. Light rail is considered high capacity as trains use 2-4 LRVs. Since ridership determines the scale of a rapid transit system, statistical modeling allows planners to size the rail system for the needs of the area. When the predicted ridership falls between the service requirements of a light rail and heavy rail or metro system, an MCS project is indicated. Semantan MRT Station
The Semantan MRT Station or Manulife-Semantan for sponsorship reasons, is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station that serves the suburb of Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is one of the stations on the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line and was opened on 16 December 2016 when Phase One of the line became operational. The station is located near the Semantan Interchange (Jalan Dungun intersection) of the Sprint Expressway near Wisma UN, the United Nations (UN) representative office in Malaysia and the office area of Jalan Dungun. The New Pantai Expressway ''(Malay: Lebuhraya Baru Pantai)'' (known as NPE) , is a controlled-access highway in the Klang Valley region of Peninsular Malaysia. Touch 'n Go
The Touch 'n Go smart card is used by Malaysian toll expressway and highway operators as the sole electronic payment system (EPS). The credit card-sized smart card is made of plastic with Philips' MIFARE Classic microchip technology embedded in it. It is a one company monopoly system that you must use this card as long as you need to pass through the highway, take public transportation, etc in Malaysia.
