Bangladeshi Cricket Team In New Zealand In 2021–22
The Bangladesh cricket team toured New Zealand in January 2022 to play two Test matches. The Test series formed part of the 2021–2023 ICC World Test Championship. In September 2021, the tour dates were moved back slightly due to COVID-19 quarantine requirements for travelling to New Zealand. Initially the tour was also scheduled to include three Twenty20 International matches. However, these were dropped from the itinerary when the dates were confirmed by New Zealand Cricket in November 2021. Bangladesh won the first Test by eight wickets. It was Bangladesh's first win in Test cricket against New Zealand, and their first win in international cricket against New Zealand in New Zealand. However, New Zealand went on to win the second Test inside three days, beating Bangladesh by an innings and 117 runs, to draw the series 1–1. Tom Latham (cricketer)
Thomas William Maxwell Latham (born 2 April 1992) is a New Zealand international cricketer who is vice-captain of the New Zealand cricket team in Tests and ODIs. He is the son of former cricketer Rod Latham. He has the highest number of centuries among the New Zealand openers in Tests. He is primarily a batsman who also plays as a wicket-keeper. Playing for Canterbury, he made his first-class cricket debut against Central Districts in 2010 in the Plunket Shield. Kyle Jamieson (born 30 December 1994) is a New Zealand cricketer. He made his international debut for the New Zealand cricket team in February 2020 against India. Quazi Nurul Hasan Sohan ( bn, কাজী নুরুল হাসান সোহান; born 21 November 1993) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who represents Bangladesh in international stage in all formats. Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Bengali: মেহেদী হাসান মিরাজ; born: 25 October 1997) is a Bangladeshi international cricket player who plays Tests and One Day Internationals (ODIs) for the Bangladesh national team. Neil Wagner (born 13 March 1986) is a South African-born New Zealand Test cricketer who plays for New Zealand and Northern Districts cricket teams.
