BAF Shaheen College Dhaka ( bn, বিএএফ শাহীন কলেজ ঢাকা) is a co-education Bangladeshi college (grades KG-XII) established and controlled by the Bangladesh Air Force. History The school was established on 1 March 1960 as P. A. F. Shaheen School. Originally English-medium education, English-medium, Bangla-medium was introduced in parallel from 1967. Shaheen High School was renamed BAF Shaheen College Dhaka when it began offering intermediate courses in 1977. Degree pass courses were opened in 1990. Since then the college has been functioning as a degree college. The college has classes from kindergarten to Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC). The college is co-educational. Kazi Md. Salahuddin ( bn, কাজী সালাউদ্দিন; born 23 September 1953) is a Bangladeshi former football player currently serving as a president of South Asian Football Federation. He was a member of the Shadhin Bangla Football Team, the team which played across India to raise funds during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971. Salahuddin is the first professional football player from the country to play abroad in the professional league in Hong Kong and considered to be one of Bangladesh's most famous football players. He was a member of the Bangladesh national football team, retiring in 1980. Air Chief Marshal Abu Esrar, BBP, NDC, ACSC was the 14th Chief of the Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force. He took over as the chief on 12 June 2015 from Air Marshal Enamul Bari. Air chief marshal (Air Chf Mshl or ACM) is a high-ranking air officer originating from the Royal Air Force. The rank is used by air forces of many countries that have historical British influence. Sheikh Kamal (5 August 1949 – 15 August 1975) was the eldest son of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, former President of Bangladesh and the younger brother of Sheikh Hasina, the current Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
