The Bangkok Patana School ( th, โรงเรียนบางกอกพัฒนา, ) is a British International School located in Bang Na District, Bangkok, Thailand. Bangkok Patana School was founded in 1957 to provide a British-style education for the children of English-speaking expatriates and others living in Bangkok. Louis Scott ( th, หลุยส์ สก๊อต; born 4 March 1982), nicknamed Louis ( th, หลุยส์), is a Scottish-Thai singer and actor. Amita Marie "Tata" Young ( th, อมิตา มารี "ทาทา" ยัง; born 14 December 1980) is a Thai singer, actress and model who gained prominence in Thailand when she placed first in a national singing contest at age 11, subsequently signing a record deal and releasing her first album ''Amita Tata Young'' in 1995. Michele Waagaard (Thai มิเชล วอกอร์ด, born 1980) is a Norwegian-Thai model, pop star, actress, MTV VJ, and radio host. In 1995 she won the title as Model of the Year for the Thai teen magazine ''The Boy''. Michele studied at Bangkok Patana School and has a degree in Communication Arts from Assumption University. S. P. Somtow (a rearrangement of his real name Somtow Papinian Sucharitkul; th, สมเถา สุจริตกุล; ; born 30 December 1952) is a Thai-American musical composer.
