''Bangers'' is a 1995 Philippine comedy film co-written and directed by Ben Feleo. The film stars Andrew E., Joey de Leon and Chiquito. Ben Feleo
Benjamin Nabong Feleo Sr. (January 16, 1926 – September 21, 2011) was a Filipino film director and screenwriter who directed more than forty films. Early life and career Feleo's film career began with '' Dalawang Bandila'' in 1950. He was best known for Filipino comedic films such as '' Wooly Booly II'' and ''Humanap Ka ng Panget'' in 1990. Personal life He was married to educator Victorina Marasigan with whom he had sons Juan Feleo Johnny Delgado, and Benjamin Feleo Jr. (also known as Bobby). They had two children. After his separation from Marasigan, he married actress Zeny Zabala in 1964 and was with her till he died. He is the grandfather of actress Ina Feleo. Death Feleo died on 21 September 2011, aged 85, due to stroke. He was buried at Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina. Michael Edward Gil Eigenmann (; born May 24, 1960), better known by his screen name Michael de Mesa (), is a Filipino film and television actor, and director. Early life Born as Michael Edward Gil Eigenmann to performer Eddie Mesa and actress Rosemarie Gil, he and his siblings, Mark and Cherie, grew up steeped in the arts. He is the uncle of Gabby Eigenmann, Tim ″Sid Lucero″ Eigenmann, Max Eigenmann, and Andi Eigenmann. De Mesa is of Swiss, Spanish, and Filipino descent. Regal Entertainment, Inc. (formerly and more commonly known as Regal Films) is a Philippine film production company based in Pasig. It was founded by Lily Monteverde on August 19, 1962. It has produced movies of all genres; and is the oldest surviving movie studio in the Philippines. History In the beginning, Mother Lily Monteverde and her father Remy put up a popcorn stand at the Podmon Theater (now LRT-2 Recto Station) in C.M. Recto, Manila (which served as the head office of Regal before it moved to the Valencia studio and eventually to the Tycoon Center in Ortigas Center, Pasig). ''Sa Linggo nAPO Sila'' ''(They Are Now On Sunday)'' is a Philippine musical-variety show that aired on ABS-CBN from November 6, 1988, to January 29, 1995, replaced by the first Talent Singing competition show Tawag ng Tanghalan from 1987–1988. The show aired live from the Studio 3 ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center in Quezon City. The show competed with ''GMA Supershow'' but when ''Eat Bulaga!'' moved to GMA Network from ABS-CBN, ''Sa Linggo nAPO Sila'' went its final airing after six years on January 29, 1995, and was replaced by '' ASAP''.
