Bandra Kurla Complex Ground is a cricket ground in Bandra, Maharashtra. The ground normally hosts charity matches and some local matches. It also is home to the Mumbai Cricket Association. Overview In 2007, Mumbai Cricket Association installed a state-of-the-art recreation centre at the ground which forms part of their world class Indoor Cricket Academy. The Club House has top class sporting facilities ranging from an air conditioned badminton hall with two courts - billiards and snookers hall, equipped with two imported billiards tables. Bandra (Indian English, [bæːɳɖɾa]) also known as Vandre (Help:IPA/Marathi, [ʋaːn̪d̪ɾe]) is an upscale coastal suburb located in Mumbai (Bombay) area of the Konkan division, Maharashtra, India. The suburb is located to the immediate north of River Mithi, which separates Bandra from Mumbai City district. Originally, Bandra was a larger area, whence the present day Khar, Mumbai, Khar neighbourhood was also a part of it. Almost a century ago, it was considered too large a suburb to be served by one railway station. The 2017 Blind World T20 also known as 2017 Blind T20 World Cup was a T20I tournament which was also the second edition of the Blind T20 World Cup for blind cricketers, held in India from 30 January to 12 February. India defeated Pakistan by 9 wickets in the finals to win their second Blind T20 World Cup. Ten teams, hosts India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, England, Bangladesh, West Indies, South Africa, Nepal, Australia and New Zealand took part, playing in 48 matches. Hosting the T20 World Cup for the Blind for the second time after the inaugural edition in 2012, India were the defending champions and were the favourites to win the title. Mike Young (born December 21, 1955) is a former Australian cricket team fielding coach, as well as a former US minor league and Australian baseball manager, player and coach. Playing career Young attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and he was the team's MVP in 1978. After graduation, he managed to land a contract to play in the Netherlands Honkbal Hoofdklasse baseball league and he played there in 1979 and 1980 and realized that there were other opportunities for American players to ply their skills around the globe. The 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was the eighth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup and took place in New Zealand. Since 1998, the tournament has been held every 2 years.
