Bandit
Banditry is a type of organized crime committed by outlaws typically involving the threat or use of violence. A person who engages in banditry is known as a bandit and primarily commits crimes such as extortion, robbery, and murder, either as an individual or in groups. Bandido (supergroup)
Bandido were a New Mexico music supergroup that released several albums during the 1980s. They released three studio albums, and a compilation album. All of their releases charted along the west coast, Chicago, and internationally in Germany, Venezuela, and Spain. Their frontman Al Hurricane, as well as his son Al Hurricane, Jr., spoke fondly of their time with the band but reiterated their desire to return to their New Mexico music audience; as they felt that Bandido's sound was more akin to Latin music. The three Bandido albums comprise Al Hurricane's twelfth, fourteenth, and fifteenth albums. ''Bandido'' is the fourth studio album by Spain, Spanish duo Azúcar Moreno, released on Columbia Records, CBS-Epic Records, Epic in 1990. The album became the Salazár sisters' international breakthrough. The title track "Bandido (Azúcar Moreno song), Bandido" was chosen to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 1990, held in Zagreb, Yugoslavia. A house music anthem, co-written and produced by the well-known guitar player and producer Jaime Stinus and one of Spain's most prolific dance producers Raúl Orellana, complete with palmas (music), palmas and flamenco guitars, "Bandido" was turned down by the bookmakers before the contest since Spain's previous ethnic entries usually never fared well; in 1983 fellow flamenco singer Remedios Amaya's "¿Quién maneja mi barca?" had for example finished last with zero points. "Bandido" (; "Bandit") is a song recorded by Spanish sister duo Azúcar Moreno, written by , and José Luis Abel. It is best known as the entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1990, held in Zagreb. Internal selection Televisión Española (TVE), the national broadcaster of Spain, used an internal selection process to choose Azúcar Moreno, who were becoming popular by combining traditional Spanish flamenco roots with urban contemporary musical styles, in this case electronic music. ''Bandido'' is a 1956 American Western film starring Robert Mitchum, Ursula Thiess, Gilbert Roland, and Zachary Scott. The film, set in the Mexican Revolution and filmed on location around Acapulco, was written by Earl Felton and directed by Richard Fleischer. Bandido (born April 17, 1995) is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'' ( masked professional wrestler) who is primarily known for his work in the promotions Lucha Libre Elite (LLE), The Crash Lucha Libre and Dragon Gate (DG). He is also a former one time ROH World Champion. Bandido is currently signed to AEW. He is a fourth-generation wrestler, a relative of Apóstol Jr., Myzteziz Jr., and cousin of Magia Blanca.
