APO Hiking Society
The Apolinario Mabini Hiking Society, later popularly known as APO Hiking Society, or simply APO, was a Filipino musical group and one of the pillars of Original Pilipino Music (Original Pilipino Music, OPM) composed of Danny Javier†, Jim Paredes, and Boboy Garrovillo. Jaime Ramon Misa Paredes, better known simply as Jim Paredes (), is a Filipino singer, composer, television host, writer and actor. He is known as one of the members of popular musical trio APO Hiking Society (along with Danny Javier and Boboy Garovillo). He is the son of Ester Paredes Jimenez, a staunch martial law activist. Paredes' most prominent solo work, ''Handog ng Pilipino sa Mundo'', became the anthem of the peaceful People Power Revolution that overthrew the regime of Ferdinand Marcos. Magasin (English: "Magazine") is a song by the Pinoy alternative rock band, Eraserheads, from their 1994 album ''Circus''. It was the band's second hit single from the album. No music video was made for the song.
