''Pelo Brasil'' ''(At Brazil in English)'' it is the ninth musical album, album and third DVD of Banda Calypso, launched in September 2006. The band invests a large project for a tour in 5 capital and each make a passage to a CD / DVD. The chosen capital were Brasília, Recife, Salvador (Bahia), Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and Belém. In each project the show would be recorded a show piece with a musical block chosen for each city and after being closed block continue with the show for the audience. Show Opening

The start was discussed in an opening for the whole country culture but Joelma Mendes, Joelma've chosen to only to the capitals where they were printed. For each city we used the theme of culture, first to Belém culture with Carimbó, then a soldier representing Brasilia with a musical background of the start of the national anthem, then immediately one dancer Frevo representing Recife an instrumental sound ''Tchau Pra Você'' but executed in the rhythm of Frevo, ...

Banda Calypso
Banda Calypso was a Brazilian Brega (music), brega pop band, with influences of regional rhythms of the state of Pará. The band was formed in Belém, the state capital, in 1999 by singer/dancer Joelma (singer), Joelma da Silva Mendes and guitarist/producer Cledivan Almeida Farias, better known as Mestre Ximbinha. Early exposure of their work was restricted to only the North and Northeast regions of Brazil. The band now enjoys success throughout Brazil and has begun to establish its career abroad with tours to the United States, Europe and Angola. Despite initial resistance by music distributors because of its genre and origins, the band became a leader in CD and DVD sales in the 2000s, with approximately 15 million albums and over 5 million DVDs distributed in Brazil, making it one of the record-breaking bands of the country in sales.
