Banana Joe (film)
''Banana Joe'' is a 1982 Italian comedy film starring Bud Spencer. Plot Bud Spencer plays Banana Joe, a brawny yet friendly man who lives in a small rainforest village called Amantido with a huge number of his own children and regularly delivers bananas to a South American river port (hence his name). One day, the henchmen of a local gangster boss named Torsillo come ashore in Amantido to initiate the construction of a banana processing plant. Of course, Joe (in typical direct-approach manner) evicts the goons, who promptly return to their boss. Torsillo finds out that Joe is trading bananas without a license and decides to exploit it. Upon his next delivery, Joe is apprehended by the police and given the choice of either acquiring a legal license or getting his boat impounded and himself arrested for illegal shipment. Renato Casaro (; born 26 October 1935) is an Italian artist known for his movie posters, which include films like ''My Name Is Nobody'', ''Quadrophenia'', ''Conan the Barbarian'', ''Tenebrae'', ''Octopussy'', '' Never Say Never Again'', '' Rambo: First Blood Part II'' (Int'l Version), ''Red Sonja'' and '' Flesh and Blood''. Cartagena, Colombia
Cartagena ( , also ), known since the colonial era as Cartagena de Indias (), is a city and one of the major ports on the northern coast of Colombia in the Caribbean Coast Region, bordering the Caribbean sea. Nazzareno Zamperla (25 April 1937 – 19 March 2020) was an Italian actor and stuntman. Career Born in Treviso into a circus family, Zamperla came to Rome in 1949 and worked primarily in the 1950s and 1960s as a stunt performer. His focus was on the sword and sandal films. Giorgio Bracardi (born 3 May 1933) is an Italian actor, composer and stand-up comedian. Life and career Born in Rome, the older brother of the actor, pianist and composer Franco, for many years Bracardi worked around the world as a piano player (accompanying, among others, Maurice Chevalier and José Feliciano) and performing as an entertainer. Gunther Philipp (8 June 1918 – 2 October 2003) was an Austrian film actor, physician and swimmer. From 1949 to 2002 he appeared as an actor in 147 movies for cinema and television, mainly in comic roles. As an author, Philipp wrote 21 film scripts. Education During World War II, Philipp studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar and at the University of Vienna philosophy, majoring in psychology and then medicine. In 1943 he received his doctorate in medicine ( Dr. med. univ.) He held the Austrian record in the 100-meter breaststroke for 14 years. He was also in the squad of the Austrian Olympic team in Berlin in 1936, but was not nominated for political reasons because he did not want to join the National Socialist-dominated “First Vienna Amateur Sports Club”.
