Bamboo Boys
''Bamboo Boys'' is a 2002 Indian Malayalam-language comedy film written and directed by Ramasimhan. It stars Kalabhavan Mani, Cochin Haneefa, Harishree Ashokan, and Salim Kumar. The film was released on 11 October 2002. Plot Four tribal men from a jungle - Olanga, Nakki, Makku and Themba come to town in search of a doctor to cure their headman's wife and to win the hands of Kuduki, the headman's daughter. Being in town for the first time, everything seems new and strange for them. They engage in mischief and cause much havoc. Kalabhavan Mani
Kunnisseri Veettil Raman Mani (1 January 1971 – 6 March 2016), better known by his stage name Kalabhavan Mani, was an Indian actor and singer. Mani started his career as a mimicry artist with the Kalabhavan comedy troupe. He had starred in over 250 films, including Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu films, and was renowned for his humorous characters and villain roles. Ramasimhan (born Ali Akbar; 20 February 1963) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and lyricist who works in Malayalam cinema. He directed more than 20 Malayalam movies, including ''Grama Panchayath'', ''Bamboo Boys'', ''Junior Mandrake'', ''Kudumba Vaarthakal'' and ''Pai Brothers''. Girish Puthenchery (1961–2010) was a noted Malayalam Lyricist, Poet, Scriptwriter and Screenwriter. He was always referred to as the aristocratic lyricist of Malayalam who had a distinctive writing style of his own. He also served as the director of Indian Performance Rights Society Malayalam division (I.P.R.S) and governing council member of the Kerala Kalamandalam and Kerala Lalithakala Academy.
