Some of the founding members include Brendan McAllister, Brian Sloan, Sean Murnin, Jim Dornan and Barney Brown. Kilmore, County Down
Kilmore is a village, civil parish and townland of in County Down, Northern Ireland, about from Crossgar. It is situated in the historic baronies of Castlereagh Upper and Kinelarty. History Kilmore derives its name from the Irish word 'an Chill Mhór', meaning "the big church", as it is most famous for the historic 18th century Anglican church the building for which is now located in the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum. Eighty years after the church was built in 1790, a new church was built nearby in 1870 to heal rifts within the church concerning the nature of Anglo-Catholic worship in the decades prior. The Northern Amateur Football League, also known as the Northern Amateur League and often simply as the Amateur League, is an association football league in Northern Ireland. It contains 13 divisions. These comprise four intermediate sections: the Premier Division, Division 1A, Division 1B and Division 1C; three junior sections: Division 2A, Division 2B and Division 2C; and six reserve sections. Clubs in membership (2019–20) Intermediate Format The league season lasts from August to May with each club playing the others twice, once at their home ground and once at that of their opponents. Teams receive three points for a win and one point for a draw. No points are awarded for a loss. Teams are ranked by total points, then goal difference, and then goals scored. Ballynahinch () is a town in County Down, Northern Ireland. It had a population of 5,703 people in the 2011 Census. Ballynahinch was traditionally a market town, although the market still takes place in the square every Thursday. The town lies on the main A24 road from Belfast to Clough, near Newcastle. Facilities in the town include a leisure centre. In recent years a regeneration committee has been formed for the development of the town and the surrounding Spa and Drumaness areas. History Prior to the 17th century, the area around Ballynahinch was controlled by the McCartan clan. During the Wars of the Three Kingdoms, Catholic military officer Patrick McCartan captured a Parliamentarian-controlled castle in Downpatrick.
