Ballbreaker
''Ballbreaker'' is the thirteenth studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It was released in 1995 and was re-released in 2005 as part of the ''AC/DC Remasters'' series. Background ''Ballbreaker'' marked the return of drummer Phil Rudd, who had played with AC/DC from 1975 to 1983. Rudd had left during the '' Flick of the Switch'' sessions due to drug problems and his incompatibility with Malcolm Young. According to Arnaud Durieux's book ''AC/DC: Maximum Rock & Roll'', Rudd attended AC/DC's show in Auckland in November 1991 and, after a friendly meeting with the band backstage, made an "open-ended pitch" to rejoin if anything changed with the band's current drummer Chris Slade. Durieux reports that the band eventually invited Rudd to rejoin and he accepted in August 1994, much to the chagrin of Slade, who had been recording demos with the band in London. AC/DC
AC/DC (stylised as ACϟDC) are an Australian Rock music, rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm Young, Malcolm and Angus Young. Their music has been variously described as hard rock, blues rock, and Heavy metal music, heavy metal, but the band calls it simply "rock and roll". AC/DC underwent several line-up changes before releasing their first album, 1975's ''High Voltage (1975 album), High Voltage''. "Hail Caesar" is a song by the Australian rock band AC/DC, which was written by members and brothers, Angus and Malcolm Young. ''Bonfire'' is a five-disc box set by Australian rock band AC/DC, released in 1997, and remastered with a release in Digipak format in 2003. It was originally conceived to mark what would have been the 50th birthday of Bon Scott, the band's previous lead vocalist who died of alcohol-related misadventure in 1980. The release includes the two disc soundtrack for the film ''Let There Be Rock'', a live recording from the Atlantic Records studio in New York, some previously unreleased early material and a remastered version of the 1980 ''Back in Black'' album. Overview The album was originally released in 1997 with the CDs all packaged individually in jewel cases, complete with full artwork. The original issue also features a poster, a backstage pass, keyring and a few other extras depending on the region. Chris Slade (born Christopher Slade Rees; 30 October 1946) is a Welsh musician, best known for playing for the Australian rock band AC/DC. He drummed for the band from 1989 to 1994, performing on their 1990 album '' The Razors Edge'' along with their first live album with singer Brian Johnson, ''AC/DC Live''. He returned to the band in February 2015 to replace Phil Rudd for the "Rock or Bust World Tour". Slade has also played with Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Tom Jones, Toomorrow, The Firm, and Asia. Phil Rudd
Phillip Hugh Norman Rudd (born Phillip Hugh Norman Witschke Rudzevecius, 19 May 1954) is an Australian drummer, best known as the drummer of AC/DC across three stints. On the 1977 departure of bass guitarist Mark Evans from AC/DC, Rudd became the only Australian-born member of the band. In 2003, he entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with the other members of AC/DC. In 2014, Rudd released his first solo album, ''Head Job''. Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. ''Flick of the Switch'' is the ninth studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. The album was deemed a commercial disappointment after it failed to match the sales figures of the band's two previous releases, 1980's ''Back in Black'' and 1981's '' For Those About to Rock'', and its release represented the beginning of the band's commercial decline. Despite this, opinions of ''Flick of the Switch'' have been quite positive in the years since its release, and the album has often been mentioned as one of the best releases of 1983.
