Balearic Islands Autonomous Football Team
The Balearic Islands autonomous football team is the regional football team for the Balearic Islands, Spain. They are not affiliated with FIFA or UEFA, because it is represented internationally by the Spain national football team. It only plays friendly matches. History The team only played one game, against Malta national football team, Malta at Palma de Mallorca, and they were defeated by 0–2. For December 2008 was dated another game, this time against Equatorial Guinea national football team, Equatorial Guinea, but it finally was cancelled. However, the women's team could make their debut, with a 1–7 loss to Galicia autonomous football team, Galicia in Pontevedra. On 13 November 2018, the Balearic Islands football team played a friendly match against RCD Mallorca, Mallorca in benefit for the victims of the floods at Sant Llorenç des Cardassar. Miguel Ángel Nadal Homar (, ca, Miquel Àngel Nadal Homar; born 28 July 1966) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a versatile defender and midfielder. Maitane López Millán (born 13 March 1995) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for American National Women's Soccer League club NJ/NY Gotham FC and the Spain women's national team. Emilio Nsue López (born 30 September 1989) is a professional footballer who plays for Primera División RFEF club CF Intercity. Born in Spain, he captains the Equatorial Guinea national team. A versatile player, he plays mainly as a right-back but can also play as a winger.
