Baldur Bragason (born 29 May 1968) is an Icelandic former footballer A football player or footballer is a sportsperson who plays one of the different types of football. The main types of football are association football, American football, Canadian football, Australian rules football, Gaelic football, rugby le ... who played as a midfielder. He won five caps for the Iceland national football team between 1992 and 1993, and had spells in Iceland, Germany, Greece and Denmark during his playing career. Shortly after he had won a place in the national team Baldur was in a motorcycle accident that left doctors doubting whether he could play again, but Baldur overcame that. During his injury, in 1994, he switched to Leiftur from Valur. The Valur men's football team, commonly known as Valur, is the men's football department of the Knattspyrnufélagið Valur multi-sport club. It is based in Reykjavík, Iceland, and currently plays in the Besta deild karla, the top-tier men's football league in Iceland. The team plays it home games at Hlíðarendi located in Reykjavík. Lyngby Boldklub () is a Danish professional football club founded in 1921. It is based at Lyngby Stadion in Kongens Lyngby, Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality, a northern suburb of Copenhagen. Panachaiki G.E. (Greek: Παναχαϊκή Γυμναστική Ένωση, ''Panachaiki Gymnastiki Enosi'', "Pan- Achaean Gymnastic Union") is a Greek multi-sport club based in the city of Patras, Greece.
