Mesut Bakkal (born 19 March 1964) is a UEFA Pro Licensed Turkish professional football manager and former midfielder. He played for Denizlispor, and later was manager of Ankaragücü, Denizlispor, Gaziantepspor, Gençlerbirliği S.K., Karabükspor, Manisaspor, and Samsunspor. He was head coach of BB Erzurumspor until March 2021. Life and career Born in Kırıkkale to Circassian parents from Bilecik, Northwest Turkey, Bakkal began playing football for local side Kırıkkalespor. Otman Bakkal
Otman Bakkal (born 27 February 1985) is a Dutch retired international footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He began his career at PSV, and was loaned to Den Bosch, Eindhoven, Twente and Feyenoord. After making a permanent move to Dynamo Moscow in the summer of 2012, he returned to Feyenoord one year later. Club career Otman Bakkal made his senior debut for PSV during the 2003–04 season in a 3–0 win over Auxerre. Three days later, on 28 March 2004, he made his league debut and the first senior start of his career in a 3–1 loss against Willem II. He signed a new three-year deal with PSV in May of that year. Over the next three seasons, Bakkal would not get any playing time at PSV. Instead, he was loaned out to FC Den Bosch, FC Eindhoven and FC Twente.
