Bakhshali Bakhshaliyev
Bakhshali Hasanali oghlu Bakhshaliyev ( az, Baxşəli Həsənəli oğlu Baxşəliyev, August 20, 1920 — November 12, 1987) was an Azerbaijani-Soviet statesman, Minister of Finance of the Azerbaijan SSR (1970–1987). Biography Bakhshali Hasanali oglu Bakhshaliyev was born on August 20, 1920 in the city of Barda. He began his career here in 1937 as a high school librarian. Since 1940, he worked as the chief inspector, chief accountant of the district finance department, supervisor-inspector of the control-inspection department in Barda District. He received his higher education at the All-Union Correspondence Financial Institute. In 1954, Bakhshali Bakhshaliyev was transferred to the position of chief inspector-inspector of the central office of the Ministry of Finance of the Azerbaijan SSR, and then he became the head of the department of the control-inspection department. The Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic ( az, Azərbaycan Respublikasının Maliyyə Nazirliyi) is a governmental agency within the Cabinet of Azerbaijan in charge of regulating the financial sector in Azerbaijan Republic. The ministry is headed by Samir Sharifov. History The office of Minister of Finance was established on May 18, 1918, when Azerbaijan Democratic Republic declared independence. Barda District
Barda District ( az, Bərdə rayonu) is one of the 66 districts of Azerbaijan. It is located in the center of the country and belongs to the Aran Economic Region. The district borders the districts of Tartar, Agdam, Aghjabadi, Zardab, Agdash, and Yevlakh. Its capital and largest city is Barda. As of 2020, the district had a population of 157,500.
