Baithakata ( bn, বৈঠাকাটা), also known as ''Mugarjhor'', is a village in Pirojpur District in the Barisal Division of southwestern Bangladesh. Geography The village is part of the Union Councils of Bangladesh, union council of Malikhali and lies near the eastern shore of Kaliganga River. Pirojpur () is a district (zilla) in southern-western Bangladesh. It is a part of Barisal Division. Etymology According to myth, the second son of Subedar Shah Shuja, Firoz Shah, died in this area, and the area became known subsequently as 'Firozpur'.
