Baishe Srabon
''Baishey Srabon'' () (''22 Shey Srabon'') is a 2011 Indian Bengali neo-noir psychological thriller film directed by Srijit Mukherji. It was his second film. The cast consists of Prosenjit Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Raima Sen, Abir Chatterjee and director Gautam Ghose, making a comeback after a 29-year absence. The film centers on two journalists and two police officers (one suspended) chasing a vengeful psychopath, who leaves behind couplets from Bengali poems. Upon release, it received highly positive reviews from critics and was one of the highest-grossing Bengali films of 2011 and considered as a cult film among the Bengali audience. Srijit Mukherji is an excellent national award winning Indian film director and screenwriter who predominantly works in Cinema of West Bengal, Bengali cinema. His regular collaboration with veteran actor Prosenjit Chatterjee brought him into the limelight. Goutam Ghose (also spelled Gautam Ghosh born 24 July 1950) is an Indian film director, Actor, music director and cinematographer, who works primarily in Bengali cinema. He is the only Indian to have received the "Vittorio Di Sica" Award, Italy, in 1997. In 2012, the Government of West Bengal honored him with the Banga Bibhushan for lifetime achievement.
