Baidurya Rahasya
''Baidurya Rahasya'' (Mystery of the Electric Gem) is a Bengali thriller movie directed by Tapan Sinha. This movie was released on 8 May 1985 under the banner of Saraswati Chitram. Storylining and music direction was also done by Tapan Sinha. Plot An invaluable emerald was stolen from a Lord Krishna's temple in an island, that was insured for Rs. 8 lakhs. The insurance company appointed Hindusthan detective agency for investigation. The Head of the Detective agency Mr. Madan Bose went to the temple with his assistant to meet the Mohanta Maharaj of the temple. On the other hand, two young ladies went to the temple as devotee of lord Krishna. Without informing the local police they started investigation secretly. Tapan Sinha
Tapan Sinha (2 October 1924 – 15 January 2009) was one of the most prominent Indian film directors of his time forming a legendary quartet with Satyajit Ray, Ritwik Ghatak and Mrinal Sen. He was primarily a Bengali filmmaker who worked both in Hindi cinema and Bengali cinema, directing films like '' Kabuliwala'' (1957), ''Louha-Kapat'', ''Sagina Mahato'' (1970), ''Apanjan'' (1968), ''Kshudhita Pashan'' and children's film ''Safed Haathi'' (1978) and ''Aaj Ka Robinhood''. Basanta Choudhury
Basanta Choudhury (also Chowdhury; 5 May 1928 – 20 June 2000) was an Indian actor in Bengali and Hindi films. He worked with directors Asit Sen, Rajen Tarafdar, Ajay Kar and Bijay Bose, often in leading roles. He is a former Sheriff of Kolkata. Choudhury's collection of Kashmiri and Persian shawls were enviable. Director Satyajit Ray admired those collections and used for his masterpieces. Manoj Mitra (born 22 December 1938) is an Indian theatre, film and television actor, director and playwright. Early life Mitra was born on 22 December 1938 in Dhulihar village of Satkhira, Khulna, Bangladesh. Initially he used to study at home because his father Ashok Kumar Mitra, who had a transferable job. Mitra was attracted to the Jatras and plays that used to be held in their courtyard during the Durga Pujas but was forbidden by senior family members to participate in any way. His school life began after the Partition at a school (Dandirhat N.K.U.S. Niketan) near Basirhaat. Later he joined the Scottish Church College with honours in philosophy and graduated in 1958.
