Baghprachanda Khan
Baghprachanda Khan ( bn, বাগপ্রচণ্ড খাঁ, bagprôcôṇḍô khã) is a village and ''mouza'' under Lauta Union, Beanibazar Upazila of Sylhet District , Bangladesh. Administration History Pratapchandra Pal, the youngest of the five sons of Yadavananda Pal, settled in this area after converting from Hinduism to Sunni Islam and being given the name ''Prachanda Khan''. He excavated a large ''dighi'' (reservoir) in the area, which was named ''Bagh Prachanda Khan'' (Garden of Prachanda Khan), later being established as a mouza. His descendants continue to inhabit the village, and were at one point known as the '' Chowdhuries of Kala'' within Panchakhanda pargana. Kari Peter Conrad von Bagh (29 August 1943 – 17 September 2014) was a Finnish film historian and director. Von Bagh worked as the head of the Finnish Film Archive. He was the editor-in-chief of ''Filmihullu'' magazine and co-founder and director of the Midnight Sun Film Festival. Bagh District
Bagh District ( ur, ) is one of the ten districts of Pakistan's territory of Azad Kashmir. Previously part of Poonch District, it was established as a separate district in 1988. The Bagh District is bounded on the north by the Muzaffarabad District, the Hattian Bala District, and the Baramulla District of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, on the east by the Haveli District, on the south by the Poonch District, and on the west by the Rawalpindi District of Pakistan's Punjab Province. The total area of the district is 770 square kilometers. The Bagh District is linked to the Muzaffarabad District by two roads, one via Sudhan Gali (80 km) and the other via Kohala (97 km). Bagh, Azad Kashmir
Bagh City ( ur, ) is the chief town and district headquarters of Bagh District, in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. The town is situated on the confluence of two nullahs (streams), Malwani and Mahl (ماہلوانی اور ماہل) at the distance of 93 km from Muzaffarabad. 2005 earthquake On 8 October 2005, Bagh was hit by a devastating earthquake that killed 8,500 people, which represented 10% of the population. Most of the victims were children attending school who died when the school buildings collapsed.
