The football tournament at the 2024 Summer Olympics took place from 24 July to 10 August 2024 in France. The draw took place in Paris on 20 March 2024. In addition to the Olympic host city of Paris, matches were also played in Bordeaux, Décines-Charpieu (near Lyon), Marseille, Nantes, Nice and Saint-Étienne. The competition is normally contested by 168 clubs split geographically across 12 groups of 14 teams, but this season had 169 clubs due to the administrative relegation of Gazélec Ajaccio.
