Badrock And Company
Badrock is a fictional character, fictional superhero who appears in books published by Image Comics. Created by Rob Liefeld, he was originally named Bedrock and first appeared in ''Youngblood (comics), Youngblood'' #1 (April 1992). Fictional character biography Thomas John McCall was an average, underachieving 16-year-old when he swallowed a vial of top secret genetic material in his father's lab. A transformation occurred and McCall's body became a mass of organic rock, similar to granite. He still however, exhibited the emotional immaturity of a 16-year-old. Image Comics
Image Comics is an American comic book publisher and is the third largest comic book and graphic novel publisher in the industry in both unit and market share. It was founded in 1992 by several high-profile illustrators as a venue for creator-owned properties, in which comics creators could publish material of their own creation without giving up the copyrights to those properties. Normally this isn't the case in the work for hire-dominated American comics industry, where the legal author is a publisher, such as Marvel Comics or DC Comics, and the creator is an employee of that publisher. Grifter (comics)
Grifter (Cole Cash) is a fictional superhero who has appeared in books published by Wildstorm Productions and DC Comics. Created by artist Jim Lee and writer Brandon Choi, he first appeared in ''WildC.A.T.s'' #1 (August 1992), as a member of that titular superhero team, during the period when Wildstorm and its properties were owned by Jim Lee. In that incarnation, Grifter is a former government operative and member of the military unit Team 7 and the espionage agency International Operations. In 1999, Lee sold Wildstorm to DC Comics, and ownership of all Wildstorm characters, including Grifter, transferred to DC Comics. Youngblood is a superhero team that starred in their self-titled comic book, created by writer/artist Rob Liefeld. The team made its debut as a backup feature in the 1987 RAMM #1 before the next month appearing in the one-shot ''Megaton Explosion'' #1 before later appearing in 1992 in its own ongoing series as the flagship publication for Image Comics. Shaft (Jeff Terrel) is a fictional superhero created by writer/artist Rob Liefeld. Liefeld created the character for his Extreme Studios as the leader of superhero team Youngblood. Fictional character biography Jeff Terrel is an undercover FBI agent dating an assistant DA when a sniper tries to kill him at a shopping mall. He slays his attacker with a thrown pen. Later, he is approached by the government-sponsored team, Youngblood. He joins the team being an already accomplished archer. Awesome Comics or Awesome Entertainment (also known as Awesome-Hyperwerks when briefly joined with Hyperwerks Entertainment) was an American comic book studio formed in 1997 by Rob Liefeld following his expulsion from Image Comics, a company he co-founded five years prior.
