''Badehotellet'' (English: ''Seaside Hotel'') is a Danish drama comedy series that has been running on TV 2 since 2013. The story line follows the guests and employees at the hotel at a seaside hotel in Skagerrak, south of Skagen Skagen () is Denmark's northernmost town, on the east coast of the Skagen Odde peninsula in the far north of Jutland, part of Frederikshavn Municipality in Nordjylland, north of Frederikshavn and northeast of Aalborg. Cecilie Stenspil
Cecilie Maria Stenspil (born 22 October 1979) is a Danish actress. She graduated from the School of Acting at Odense Teater in 2006. She has had leading roles in a large number of performances at several Danish theaters, including the Royal Danish Theatre, Aarhus Theater, Odense Teater and at the Folketeateret and she has starred in several films and TV series. In addition, she has voiced a huge number of cartoon productions. Career As a child, Stenspil was a student at the children's theater Eventyrteatret for 5 years. Ole Thestrup
Ole Svane Thestrup (12 March 1948 – 2 February 2018) was a Danish actor. He appeared in many Danish films, particularly those directed by Anders Thomas Jensen, as well as television and theatre roles. He had a recurring role in the political drama series ''Borgen''. Early and personal life Ole Thestrup was born in Nibe, North Jutland, on 12 March 1948. He initially had ambitions to become a guitarist, before turning to acting. He joined Aarhus Theatre aged 25, completing his acting training in 1976. He later also worked at the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen. Thestrup had a history of alcohol abuse, which contributed to his 1988 imprisonment at Headingley Correctional Institution near Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada after he caused disruption on board a British Airways flight from London to Los Angeles, leading to an emergency landing. Bodil Jørgensen
Bodil Jørgensen (born 3 March 1961) is a Danish film actress. She has appeared in 40 films since 1992. She starred in ''The Idiots'', which was entered into the 1998 Cannes Film Festival. On 18 June 2014, Jørgensen was severely injured while shooting for the film ''Far til fires vilde ferie'' on the island of Mandø. She fell off a tractor she was riding in the scene being filmed, and was crushed by it. Severe injuries to her ribs, pelvis and internal organs ensued, but she survived the accident. Bjarne Henriksen (born 18 January 1959) is a Danish film and television actor. Biography Henriksen was born in Såderup, Funen in 1959.
