Bad Habit (Foals Song)
"Bad Habit" is the fourth single by UK band Foals, from their third studio album '' Holy Fire''. The official video, unveiled on 17 June 2013, was directed by Nabil where visual effects were created by GloriaFX and features lead singer Yannis Philippakis wandering through a desert following a nude woman. The song has been featured in a BBC promotion for its Summer of Music in May 2013. Foals (band)
Foals, stylised as FOALS, are a British rock band formed in Oxford in 2005. The band's current line-up consists of Greek-born lead vocalist and guitarist Yannis Philippakis, drummer and percussionist Jack Bevan and rhythm guitarist Jimmy Smith. They are currently signed to Warner Records, and have released seven studio albums to date: '' Antidotes'' (2008), ''Total Life Forever'' (2010), ''Holy Fire'' (2013), ''What Went Down'' (2015), and ''Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 1'' & 2 (2019) and their most recent, ''Life Is Yours'' (2022). A foal is an equine up to one year old; this term is used mainly for horses, but can be used for donkeys. More specific terms are colt for a male foal and filly for a female foal, and are used until the horse is three or four. When the foal is nursing from its dam (mother), it may also be called a "suckling". After it has been weaned from its dam, it may be called a "weanling". ''Holy Fire'' is the third studio album by British rock band Foals, released on 11 February 2013 in the United Kingdom on Transgressive Records. The first single " Inhaler" first aired on 5 November 2012 on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show, with the music video being released later that same day. The second single " My Number" debuted on '' Later... with Jools Holland'' on 13 November 2012. The track had its radio debut one month later, also on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show. The music video premiered on 23 January 2013. The album managed to chart at number two on the UK Albums Chart in the UK and charted across the world including the number one spot on the Australian Albums Chart in Australia and number 86 on the ''Billboard'' 200 in the US. Nabil Elderkin is an American-born Australian film and music video director and photographer, who is of Iranian and American descent. He is mononymously credited as Nabil in his videos.
