''Bad Girls'' is the fifth studio album and first English-language album by Spanish recording artist Mónica Naranjo, it was recorded between 2000 and 2002, and released through Epic Records ( Sony) on November 11, 2002. The album is marked as a promotional album – it is not considered an official CD from Mónica's discography and it is no longer available. Recording and background The album is the English-language version of her previous album ''Chicas Malas'' (2001). The album was originally planned to be released in March 2003, months after the release of ''Chicas Malas'', later, the date was moved to September 2003, finally the album was released on November 11, 2003. Mónica Naranjo Carrasco (born 23 May 1974) is a Spanish singer widely popular in Spain and Latin America and recognised as one of the most powerful voices of the Spanish and Latin American music scenes. She has performed with singers such as Luciano Pavarotti, Rocío Jurado and Mina Mazzini amongst others. Biography Early years Mónica Naranjo was born in Figueres. Her parents, Francisco, a construction worker and Patricia a housewife, migrated from southern Spain (Seville) and (Málaga) to the north in the 1960s. Mónica, who is the oldest daughter of the family has two younger siblings, Raquel and Enrique. Despite her troubled childhood, when she was only 4, she realised that music was her favourite activity. Frank John Musker (born 1951) is a British songwriter and composer. Most prolific in the 1980s and 1990s, he worked with artists such as Sheena Easton, the Babys, Robert Miles, Jennifer Rush, Bucks Fizz, Air Supply, Lucio Battisti, Zucchero, Lisa Stansfield and Brian May (for the Queen song "Too Much Love Will Kill You"). His collaboration with May was awarded Best Song Musically and Lyrically at the 1997 Ivor Novello Awards. Christopher Neville Eaton (born 16 September 1958) is a British Contemporary Christian singer-songwriter, who has written songs for singers including Cliff Richard, Amy Grant and Jaci Velasquez. Nightcrawlers is a British house music project from Glasgow, Scotland, assembled by producer, DJ and vocalist John Reid (born 6 September 1963).
