Disciple is an American Christian metal band from Knoxville, Tennessee, formed in 1992. The group has released 13 studio albums, 3 extended plays, 1 live extended play, and 1 compilation album. History Early releases (1992–1998) Disciple was formed in December 1992 by Knoxville high school friends Kevin Young, Brad Noah, Adrian DiTommasi and Tim Barrett. The band played its first show in May 1993 at Topside Church of God in Louisville, Tennessee, and recorded its first three-song demo at Nightsong Studios with producer Jesse Jones. Adrian DiTommasi left the band shortly after that for personal reasons, and Kevin Young would eventually take over the bass guitar duties. Later that year, Jones led Disciple in recording its first full length album titled ''Trail of Tears'' at Nightsong Studios. In 1994 the band with Jones recorded a second album: ''Lake of Fire''. ''Civilian'' is the debut album by Boy Kill Boy. It was released on 22 May 2006 and reached number 16 in the UK Album Chart. Background and production Vocalist and guitarist Chris Peck spent three years playing in a post-Britpop band with his schoolfriend drummer Shaz Mahmood. After a few months of downtime, the pair formed Boy Kill Boy in 2004. The band, now with the addition of keyboardist Pete Carr, added bassist Kevin Chase to the line-up after meeting him at a house party. A month afterwards, the band were due to support another band in London; however, the show was cancelled, and was followed-up by another support slot, this time for Hard-Fi, the week after. "Suzie", backed with "Last of the Great", was released as a single on 16 May 2005, through Fierce Panda Records. Waldo's People is a Finnish Eurodance band. The lead singer of the band is Waldo, whose real name is Marko Reijonen. They represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, with the song " Lose Control". It won a place for the Eurovision final on May 16 as the jury's chosen act. Stars (Australian Band)
Stars are an Australian country rock band formed in Adelaide, South Australia in 1975 and disbanding in 1979, before re-forming in 2019. Founding members were Glyn Dowding on drums; Malcolm Eastick on guitar and vocals; Mick Pealing on vocals; and Graham Thompson on bass guitar. They were joined by guitarist, songwriter, Andrew Durant in 1976 and relocated to Melbourne. Thompson then left and was replaced by a succession of bass guitarists including Roger McLachlan (ex-Little River Band) and Ian McDonald. The band's debut album, ''Paradise'', peaked at No. 14 on the Australian Kent Music Report in 1978 and included their highest-charting single "Look After Yourself" which reached No. 30 on the related singles chart.
