Bacchi Wapen
Bacchi Wapen was a high-end music venue and restaurant in Järntorgsgatan, Gamla stan, Stockholm, Sweden. The building is several centuries old and is a fine example of 18th century neo-classical architecture. Bacchi Wapen went bankrupt in 2002 but opened again in 2004 under the name Bacci Bar, and in 2007 as the mixed and gay bar Pigalle. Since 2009, the location is used by a bar belonging to the O'Learys sports bar franchise. Järntorgsgatan
Järntorgsgatan is a street in Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching south from the square Järntorget to Slussplan, it is intercepted by Norra Dryckesgränd and Södra Dryckesgränd and forms a parallel street to Triewaldsgränd and Skeppsbron. Owe Thörnqvist
Owe Thörnqvist (born 12 March 1929 in Uppsala) is a Swedish singer-songwriter and revue artist. Since the 1960s he has lived in Spain and Florida in the winter for health reasons, and in Sweden in the summers. He has also made regular concert tours in Sweden. In 1953, Thörnqvist produced his first revue in Uppsala, and in 1955 his first record was released. His musical style includes rock, ballroom rumba and calypso, and he has also written pastiches of American popular music; his texts are characterised by word play and humour. Thörnqvist was one of the first people to do stand-up comedy in Sweden, in venues such as Hamburger Börs and Berns in Stockholm in the 1950s. He has worked together with artists such as Povel Ramel (in the revue ''I hatt och strumpa'' in 1961–62), Anita Lindblom, Lill Lindfors, and Eva Rydberg. Jarl Anders Lennart Borssén (14 March 1937 – 21 December 2012) was a Swedish actor and comedian. Born in Berghem, Mark Municipality, Borssén had his first engagement in the Kar de Mumma revue at Folkan in 1966. He appeared in the TV series '' Partaj'' in 1969. Ewa Maria Roos Sevenheim (born 12 June 1949 in Borås) is a Swedish singer and actress. Roos started her career at the age of thirteen when she won a talent search by the radio show ''Landet runt''. She won a lead singer place in the orchestra Bosse Lidéns orkester; she was so young that she needed permission from childcare services to sing at nights and evenings. She recorded her first record called ''Polly'' the same year. In 1963, she won a talent competition hosted by ''Bildjournalen'', and she represented Sweden in a singing competition in Riccone, Italy. Eva Gunilla Johansson Rydberg (born 20 June 1943) is a Swedish singer, actress, comedian, revue-artist and dancer. Biography Early life Eva Rydberg was born in Malmö. She started ballet school at a young age and acted at a children's theater at Malmö Folkets Park. In her teens, she danced ballet at Malmö Stadsteater. When she learnt that Povel Ramel was searching for dancers for the Knäppupp-Revue at the Ideontheater in Stockholm, she sent in a photo and got the job. Cornelis Vreeswijk (; ; 8 August 1937 – 12 November 1987) was a Dutch-born Swedish singer-songwriter, poet and actor. He emigrated to Sweden with his parents in 1949 at the age of twelve. He was educated as a social worker and hoped to become a journalist, but became increasingly involved in music, performing at events for students with idiosyncratic humor and social engagement.
