''Baby Face Killa'' is the ninth mixtape by American rapper Freddie Gibbs. It was released on September 25, 2012. It is the first installment of the Gangsta Grillz series featuring Gary, Indiana based Freddie Gibbs. The mixtape was announced shortly after the release of the previous street album '' Cold Day In Hell''. There are 18 tracks on the street album and additional bonus tracks on the deluxe edition that were released on iTunes. Freddie Gibbs
Fredrick Jamel Tipton (born June 14, 1982), better known by his stage name Freddie Gibbs, is an American rapper from Gary, Indiana. After initially being signed to Interscope Records in 2006, Gibbs recorded his debut studio album under the label. However, he was eventually dropped and the album was cancelled. Gibbs later signed with Young Jeezy's CTE World and released a number of mixtapes through the label, including 2012's highly acclaimed '' Baby Face Killa''. After leaving CTE in early 2013, Gibbs formed his own label, ''ESGN'', which was also the name of his debut studio album released in June of that year. ''Steeler'' is the debut studio album by the American heavy metal band of the same name, released in 1983. It was largely recorded at Prairie Sun Studios in Cotati, California, about fifty miles north of San Francisco. It was the only album released by the band until a 2005 compilation album released by singer Ron Keel. After the album was released the band broke up. Guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen joined the band Alcatrazz, bassist Rik Fox would form Sin, drummer Mark Edwards signed on with Lion, while Ron Keel would spin off Steeler into Keel. Shante Scott Franklin (born April 4, 1981), better known by his stage name Currensy (often stylized as Curren$y), is an American rapper. In 2011, he founded the label Jet Life Recordings. Music career 2002–2008: No Limit and Young Money In 2002, Currensy was signed to Master P's No Limit Records and was a late addition to the 504 Boyz. Johnny Reed McKinzie Jr. (born March 31, 1983), better known by his stage name Jay Rock, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from Los Angeles. He signed to indie label Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), in 2005. Under TDE, Rock secured a record deal in 2007 with Warner Bros. Records and later Asylum Records, but mergers fell through and Rock departed from the label shortly after. He was the founder of the American hip hop group Raider Klan and Black Money Boys.
