Babou Nicolai Nelson Lowe (born 7 December 1994), better known by his mononym Babou, is a Danish singer of mixed Danish-Gambian origin. He came third in Danish ''X Factor'' in 2011. He has released one album and his single "Supernova" has charted in Denmark, becoming the theme song for season 10 of the Danish version of the reality television series ''Paradise Hotel''. Beginnings Babou was born to a Gambian father and a Danish mother. He started very early in music. In the year 2005, only ten years old, he participated in the talent show ''Scenen er din'' broadcast on TV 2 coming second for the category "Junior Song". Gaining huge popularity, he released an album of covers titled ''For Once in My Life''. Edgar Babou (born 4 June 1970) is an Ivorian rugby union player. He played as a prop and as a hooker. Babou has been playing in France in the most recent years. He played more recently at Union Bordeaux Bègles, for the Pro D2, from 2005/06 to 2006/07. Since then, he has been playing at the Fédérale 1, for Bobigny, in 2007/08, Genevilliers, from 2008/09 to 2009/10, Suresnes, in 2010/11, and Boulogne-Billancourt, since 2011/12. Babou plays internationally for Ivory Coast, being also their captain. He played in the 2011 Rugby World Cup qualifyings. Philibert Babou de la Bourdaisière (1513 – 25 January 1570) was a Roman Catholic bishop and cardinal. Biography Philibert Babou de la Bourdaisière was born in Brisighella in 1513, the son of Philibert Babou and Marie Gaudin. He was from a French family. His mother was the mistress of Francis I of France. His brother, Jacques Babou de la Bourdaisière, was Bishop of Angoulême. He studied Ancient Greek and Latin, obtaining a degree from the University of Paris. Following his brother's death, he was elected Bishop of Angoulême on 13 January 1533; he served as administrator until reaching the canonical age to be consecrated.
