Babis Kotridis
Babis Kotridis ( el, Μπάμπης Κοτρίδης; 30 October 1928 – 18 April 2009) was a Greek professional footballer. He played in 18 matches for the Greece national football team from 1951 to 1957. He was also part of Greece's team for the 1952 Summer Olympics, and their qualification matches for the 1954 FIFA World Cup. Andreas Mouratis
Andreas Mouratis ( el, Ανδρέας Μουράτης; 29 November 1926 – 10 December 2000), nicknamed ''Missouri'', was a Greek footballer, who played for Olympiacos. Career He was the leading power in the Olympiakos team of the post-war era and won numerous league and cup titles. He was and still is one of the favourite Olympiakos players. Vigorous, aggressive and passionate, he embodies the ideal player characteristics for Olympiakos fans. He made 16 appearances and scored one goal for the Greece national football team. He was also member of the national side for the 1952 Olympic Games, but he did not play in any matches. Mouratis was nicknamed "Mourat Aslan" (Mouratis the Lion) by the Turkish press, after a friendly match of the national teams of Greece and Turkey, because he was playing aggressively like a lion. 1953–54 Panhellenic Championship
The 1953–54 Panhellenic Championship was the 18th season of the highest football league of Greece. There was an important innovation, as in its final phase, teams from the Greek region participated in a single group for the first time, bypassing the "Athens - Piraeus - Thessaloniki" triptych. The opportunity to claim the title of champion of a provincial team, was given for the first time in the period 1938-39, but where the championship was held in 2 groups. Olympiacos won their 10th championship being unbeaten for the 5th time in their history. The Greek Football Cup ( el, Κύπελλο Ελλάδος Ποδοσφαίρου), commonly known as the Greek Cup or Kypello Elladas is a Greek football competition, run by the Hellenic Football Federation. The Greek Cup is the second most important domestic men's football event, after the championship of Super League. The organizing authority of the institution is the Hellenic Football Federation ( EPO). Since its inception in 1931 it has been held 80 times, in which cup winner emerged 79.
