Babak Zarrin ( fa, بابک زرین, Bābak Zarrin; ) (born 30 July 1978) is an Iranian composer and songwriter. Biography Alireza Shabani Zarrinkafsh was born in 1978 in the city of Rasht, Guilan province. In adolescence, he began piano lessons with Azadeh Pourbayram and Sohrab Falakangiz, continuing to study the musical theory in his birthplace. He is a graduate of the Tehran Conservatory in the field of composition, counterpoint, song music, and opera singing. Later, Zarrinkafsh became a pupil of Babak Bayat and Mohsen Elhamian. Babak Zarrinkafsh chose the artistic name of "Babak Zarrin". Career Zarrin has been collaborating with renowned Iranian singers in making over 20 musical albums, as songwriter, amont them, Moein, Aref Arefkia, Salar Aghili, Mohammad Esfahani, Reza Sadeghi, Farzad Farzin, Alireza Ghorbani, Mohammad-Reza Foroutan, Ava Bahram, Mohammad Alizadeh, Hamid Hami, Mani Rahnama, Reza Bahram and Shahab Mozaffari. Rasht ( fa, رشت, Rašt ; glk, Rəšt, script=Latn; also romanized as Resht and Rast, and often spelt ''Recht'' in French and older German manuscripts) is the capital city of Gilan Province, Iran. Farzad Farzin ( fa, فرزاد فرزین; born 24 June 1981 in Tehran, IranAllmusic Biography/ref>) is an Iranian singer, songwriter, arranger, and actor. Music career Early years Farzad was one of the founders and original band member of the Corouz Group in 2001. He left the band before they could release their first album. Farzad's spot in Corouz was taken by Shervin Sohrabian. Farzad had left Corouz Group for personal reasons, but obviously did keep the rights to all songs he had created for Corouz Group. Alireza Ghorbani ( fa, علیرضا قربانی; born 4 February 1972) is an Iranian traditional vocalist. Biography He began his career by reciting the Quran. Soon he began eagerly learning traditional Iranian music.
