Baab-al-Salaam
Baab-As-Salaam (Arabic باب السلام), pronounced as "''bāb assalām''", is one of the gates at the Great Mosque of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. This phrase in Arabic when literally translated into English means "Gate of Peace". It has been a tradition for first time visitors to the mosque A mosque (; from ar, مَسْجِد, masjid, ; literally "place of ritual prostration"), also called masjid, is a place of prayer for Muslims. Safa And Marwa
Safa and Marwa ( ar, ٱلصَّفَا وَٱلْمَرْوَة, Aṣ-Ṣafā wal-Marwah) are two small hills, connected to the larger Abu Qubais and Qaiqan mountains, respectively, in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, now made part of the Masjid al-Haram. Muslims travel back and forth between them seven times in what is known as Sa'ee ( ar, سَعِي, lit=seeking/searching or walking, translit=sa'iy) ritual pilgrimages of '' Ḥajj'' and ''Umrah''.
