BTS
BTS (), also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band formed in 2010. The band consists of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, who co-write or co-produce much of their material. Originally a hip hop group, they expanded their musical style to incorporate a wide range of genres, while their lyrics have focused on subjects including mental health, the troubles of school-age youth and coming of age, loss, the journey towards self-love, individualism, and the consequences of fame and recognition. Their discography and adjacent work has also referenced literature, philosophy and psychology, and includes an alternate universe storyline. Kim Tae-hyung (; born December 30, 1995), known professionally as V (), is a South Korean singer and songwriter. In 2013, he made his debut as a member of the South Korean boy band BTS, under Big Hit Music, Big Hit Entertainment. V has performed three solo songs under BTS' name—"Stigma" in 2016, "Singularity (song), Singularity" in 2018, and "Inner Child" in 2020—all of which charted on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. Park Ji-min (; born October 13, 1995), known mononymously as Jimin, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and dancer. In 2013, he made his debut as a member of the South Korean boy band BTS, under the record label Big Hit Entertainment. Jimin has released three solo tracks under BTS' name—"Lie" in 2016, "Serendipity" in 2017, and "Filter" in 2020—all of which have charted on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. Kim Seok-jin (; born December 4, 1992), known professionally as Jin, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and member of the South Korean boy band BTS. Jin has released three solo tracks with BTS: "Wings (BTS album), Awake" in 2016, "Epiphany (BTS song), Epiphany" in 2018, and "Moon" in 2020, all of which have charted on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. ''Wings'' (stylized as WINGS) is the second Korean and fourth overall studio album by South Korean boy band BTS. The album was released on October 10, 2016, by Big Hit Entertainment. It is available in four versions and contains fifteen tracks, with " Blood Sweat & Tears" serving as its lead single. Heavily influenced by Hermann Hesse's coming of age novel, '' Demian'', the concept album thematically deals with temptation and growth. It was later reissued as a repackage album, titled ''You Never Walk Alone'', on February 13, 2017, a continuation of the canon for ''Wings''. Kim Nam-joon (; born September 12, 1994), known professionally as RM (formerly Rap Monster), is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He is the leader of South Korean boy band BTS, under Big Hit Entertainment. ''Dark & Wild'' (stylized ''DARK&WILD'') is the debut studio album of South Korean boy band BTS. It was released by Big Hit Entertainment on August 20, 2014. The album contains fourteen tracks, with "Danger" as its lead single. The third track on the album, "War of Hormone", was later promoted as a secondary single. ''2 Cool 4 Skool'' is the debut single album released by South Korean boy band BTS on June 12, 2013, through Big Hit Entertainment and distributed by Loen.
