Belgischer Rundfunk
Belgischer Rundfunk (BRF) (''Belgian Broadcasting'') is the public broadcasting, public-service broadcasting organisation serving the German-speaking Community of Belgium. Based in Eupen, with additional studio facilities in Sankt Vith and Brussels, BRF produces one television and three radio channels. History German-language broadcasts were first started in Brussels by the ''Nationaal Instituut voor Radio Omroep'' / ''Institut National de Radiodiffusion'' (NIR/INR) on 1 October 1945. In 1960, the NIR/INR became ''Belgische Radio en Televisie'' / ''Radio-Télévision Belge'' (BRT/RTB) and in 1961 RTB began a German-language radio channel, broadcasting from Liège. In 1977, the German-language service was separated from RTB – which became ''Radio-Télévision Belge de la Communauté française'' (RTBF) – and BRT, which became ''Vlaamse radio en televisie'' (Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroeporganisatie, VRT) - and the new company, Belgischer Rundfunk, began broadcasting from Eu ...

Bitchy Resting Face
Resting bitch face, also known as RBF, or bitchy resting face (BRF), is a facial expression that unintentionally appears like a person is angry, annoyed, irritated, or contemptuous, particularly when the individual is relaxed, resting, or not expressing any particular emotion. The concept has been studied by psychologists and may have psychological implications related to facial biases, gender stereotypes, human judgement and decision-making. The concept has also been studied by scientists with information technology. Using a type of facial recognition system, they found that the phenomenon is real and the condition is as common in males as in females, despite the gendered word ''bitch'' that is used to name the concept. History In a 2013 year-end round-up of newly popular words and phrases, ''The New York Times'' writer Grant Barrett asserted that the phrase dates back "at least ten years". On May 22, 2013, the comedy group Broken People uploaded a parody public service announ ...

Housing Cooperative
A housing cooperative, or housing co-op, is a legal entity, usually a cooperative or a corporation, which owns real estate, consisting of one or more residential buildings; it is one type of housing tenure. Housing cooperatives are a distinctive form of home ownership that have many characteristics that differ from other residential arrangements such as single family home ownership, condominiums and renting. The corporation is membership based, with membership granted by way of a share purchase in the cooperative. Each shareholder in the legal entity is granted the right to occupy one housing unit. A primary advantage of the housing cooperative is the pooling of the members' resources so that their buying power is leveraged; thus lowering the cost per member in all the services and products associated with home ownership. Another key element in some forms of housing cooperatives is that the members, through their elected representatives, screen and select who may live in th ...

Ramial Chipped Wood
Ramial chipped wood (RCW), also called BRF (from the French name, bois ramĂ©al fragmentĂ©, "chipped branch-wood"), is a type of woodchips made solely from small to medium-sized branches. The adjective "ramial" refers to branches (rami). RCW is a forest product used in agriculture for mulching and soil enrichment. It may be laid on top of the soil (as in mulching), mixed into it (as a green manure), or composted first and then applied. RCW consists of the twigs and branches of trees and woody shrubs, preferably deciduous, including small limbs up to 7 cm. (2 in.) in diameter. It is processed into small pieces by chipping, and the resulting product has a relatively high ratio of cambium to cellulose compared to other chipped wood products. Thus, it is higher in nutrients and is an effective promoter of the growth of soil fungi and of soil-building in general. The goal is to develop an airy and spongy soil that holds an ideal amount of water and resists evaporation and compac ...

Bromine Monofluoride
Bromine monofluoride is a quite unstable interhalogen compound with the chemical formula BrF. It can be produced through the reaction of bromine trifluoride (or bromine pentafluoride) and bromine. Due to its lability, the compound can be detected but not isolated: :BrF3 + Br2 → 3 BrF :BrF5 + 2 Br2 → 5 BrF :Br2(l) + F2(g) → 2 BrF(g) It is usually generated in the presence of cesium fluoride. Bromine monofluoride decomposes at normal temperature through dismutation to bromine trifluoride, bromine pentafluoride, and free bromine. See also * Bromine trifluoride, BrF3 * Bromine pentafluoride Bromine pentafluoride, Br F5, is an interhalogen compound and a fluoride of bromine. It is a strong fluorinating agent. Belt And Road Forum
The Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (also known as the Belt and Road Forum or BaRF) is an international political and economical forum of the Belt and Road Initiative. 2017 The first event was on 14 and 15 May 2017 in Beijing, and drew 29 foreign heads of state and government and representatives from more than 130 countries and 70 international organizations. Braille ASCII
Braille ASCII (or more formally The North American Braille ASCII Code, also known as SimBraille) is a subset of the ASCII character set which uses 64 of the printable ASCII characters to represent all possible dot combinations in six-dot braille. It was developed around 1969 and, despite originally being known as North American Braille ASCII, it is now used internationally. Overview Braille ASCII uses the 64 ASCII characters between 32 and 95 inclusive. All capital letters in ASCII correspond to their equivalent values in uncontracted English Braille. Note however that, unlike standard print, there is only one braille symbol for each letter of the alphabet. Therefore, in Braille, all letters are lower-case by default, unless preceded by a capitalization sign ( ). The numbers 1 through 9 and 0 correspond to the letters ''a'' through ''j'', except that they are lowered or shifted lower in the Braille cell. For example, represents ''c'', and is ''3''. The other symbols may ...

Bâtiment Ravitailleur De Forces
The bâtiments ravitailleurs de forces, or BRF, are a class of future fleet tankers that are to replace the units in French Navy service. Until January 2019, the programme was known as ''Flotte logistique'' (abbreviated FLOTLOG in military parlance). First ship of the class completed the first stage of her sea trials in January 2023 and was formally delivered to the French Navy in March to continue her sea trials. History Replacement for the type has been considered by the French Navy since 2009, with the military procurement law for years 2009–2014. At the time, the concept was knows as "''flotte logistique''" ("logistical fleet", or FLOTLOG). The succession was envisioned to take place between 2017 and 2020. The replacement was motivated both by the age of the ''Durance'' hulls, and by their non-conformity with current safety standards, notably the lack of a double hull. From 2010, Naval Group (the still named DCNS) proposed a project named BRAVE. This project was carrie ...
