BRD Arad Challenger
The BRD Arad Challenger is a tennis tournament held in Arad, Romania since 2010. After a successful first edition in 2012, the tournament was not held in 2011 due to lack of sponsors. In early 2012 it was announced that BRD – Groupe Société Générale will sponsor the tournament and thus will rename it to BRD Arad Challenger. Nikola Mektić (born 24 December 1988) is a Croatian professional tennis player who is a former world No. 1 in doubles. He is a two-time Grand Slam champion, having won the 2021 Wimbledon Championships in men's doubles partnering compatriot Mate Pavić, and the 2020 Australian Open with Barbora Krejčíková in mixed doubles.
