BK Søllerød-Vedbæk
FC Rudersdal (), is an association football club based in the municipality of Rudersdal, Denmark, that competes in the Zealand Series, the sixth tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 2020 as a merger between BSV af 2016 and Rudersdal Boldklub, it is affiliated to DBU Zealand. The team plays its home matches at Rundforbi Idrætsanlæg and Vedbæk Stadium. Organised football in the municipality had long been fragmented, with a number of clubs competing for members in a small region. Most notably, BK Søllerød-Vedbæk (BSV), stood out, reaching the Danish 2nd Division, the third tier of the Danish football league system. This club had been formed in 2002 as a merger between Søllerød Boldklub and Vedbæk Boldklub, but filed for bankruptcy in 2016. Nærum
Nærum () is a suburban district in Rudersdal Municipality in the north outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark. Quartered by the Helsingør Motorway running north–south and Skodsborgvej running east–west, Nærum is bounded by Jægersborg Hegn on the south and east, Geel's Forest on the west, open fields on the north and the Søllerød district on the northwest. 5230 people live in the parish of Nærum, most of them in low-rise concrete blocks or single-family houses. Danish 2nd Division
The 2nd Division ( da, Danmarksturneringens 2. division or Herre-DM 2. division) is a semi-professional association football league for men and the third division in Denmark. It is organised by the Divisionsforeningen on behalf of the Danish Football Association (Danish FA; DBU) as part of the nation-wide Danmarksturneringen i fodbold (Herre-DM) and is positioned between the second-tier 1st Division and the fourth-tier Danish 3rd Division in the Danish football league system. Clubs in the league must meet certain criteria concerning appropriate facilities and finances. All of the 2nd Division clubs qualify for the proper rounds of the DBU Pokalen. Martin Laursen
Martin Laursen (born 26 July 1977) is a Danish former professional footballer who played in the centre-back position. He played three seasons for Italian club A.C. Milan, with whom he won the 2003 UEFA Champions League and the 2004 Serie A championship. He also played for Italian clubs Hellas Verona and Parma FC, and was the team captain of English club Aston Villa. He was most recently the manager of BK Søllerød-Vedbæk. The Danish football league system, also known as the football league pyramid, refers to the hierarchically interconnected league system, league structure for Football in Denmark, association football in Denmark, in which all divisions are bound together by the principle of promotion and relegation. Within men's association football, the top two professional levels contain one division each. Below this, the semi-professional sports, semi-professional and Amateur sports, amateur levels have progressively more parallel divisions, which each cover progressively smaller geographic areas. Vedbæk Stadium
Vedbæk is a wealthy suburban neighbourhood on the coast north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It belongs to Rudersdal Municipality and has merged with the town of Hørsholm to the north. The area has been inhabited for at least 7,000 years, as evidenced by the discovery of a Mesolithic cemetery of the Ertebølle culture. By the 16th century, there were a few small farms and fishermen's houses on the site and in the 18th century, well-to-do townsfolk from Copenhagen started to build country houses in the area. After a paddle steamer began to call at Vedbæk on its journey from Copenhagen to Helsingør, there was an influx of visitors. There are a number of large country houses and a historic church.
