BIPA Odesa ( uk, БІПА Одеса) is a professional basketball club based in Odesa, Ukraine. In the 2015–16 season, the team entered the Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague, the top tier league in Ukraine. In December 2017, BIPA Odesa went under the ownership of BC Dynamo Odesa, but completed the 2017-2018 season under the name "BIPA". BC Dynamo Odesa was promoted to the Superleague for the season 2018-2019. BIPA and BC Dynamo merged and changed name to BC Odesa. However, refounded BIPA Odesa started to play in lower divisions. In 2020-21 season, club won Higher League of Ukraine (second division). In 2022-23 season team merged with BC Khimik Khimik Yuzhne ( uk, Хімік Южне) is a Ukrainian professional basketball club that is based in Yuzhne. Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague
The Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague (USL) ( uk, Українська баскетбольна суперліга) is the first-tier level of professional basketball league in Ukraine. Established in 1992, the league is currently contested by 10 clubs. It is a tier above the Ukrainian Higher League and allows for one season from the Higher League each season to be promoted. The league exists out of a regular season, in which team play for playoff-seeding, followed by playoffs to determine the Ukrainian champion. Budivelnyk is the most successful team in league history with 10 titles. The 2017–18 Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague was the 2017–18 edition of the Ukrainian top-tier basketball championship. The season started on 29 September 2017. BC Odesa
BC Odesa ( uk, баскетбольний клуб "Одеса") is a Ukrainian professional basketball club based in Odesa. The club competed in the Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague (UBSL). Established in 1992, Odesa played in the SuperLeague for most of its existence until it disappeared in 2016. In 2018, the club was re-founded when it merged with BC Dynamo Odesa. History BC Odesa was one of the most distinguished basketball clubs in the country and has won the UBSL championship 4 times. It was founded in 1992 under the name BIPA-Moda after its sponsor company. Following the death of its 1st president Arkadiy Tabachnyk in 1999, the club became municipal and, hence, changed its name to MBC Odesa. Khimik Yuzhne ( uk, Хімік Южне) is a Ukrainian professional basketball club that is based in Yuzhne. The club plays in the Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague. In 2006, the club reached the final of the EuroCup Challenge, where they were defeated by Ural Great Perm. History The team was founded in 2001 as BC Khimik.
