BGUSAT
BGUSAT is an Israeli research CubeSat built by the IAI and Ben Gurion University. Mission BGUSAT is designed as a research satellite, to explore atmospheric and weather phenomena in Infra-red wavelength, exploring the atmospheric gaseous contents and atmospheric glow. As a student research satellite, it allowed the students to gain experience with the development and integration of a nano satellite. Satellite The satellite is a basic 3 U CubeSat (30 x 10 x 10 cm) with a mass of about 5 kg. The on board computer is a GR712RC designed by Ramon Chips and Cobham Gaisle. The camera payload is a small camera, working in the wavelength of IR and NIR 1.7 - 1.55 \ mu m/math>. The ground station is operated by the researchers and students of Ben Gurion University. PSLV-C37 was the 39th mission of the Indian Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) program and its 16th mission in the XL configuration. PSLV-C37 successfully carried and deployed a record 104 satellites in sun-synchronous orbits. Launched on 15 February 2017 by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. According to ISRO, the 101 international satellites were launched as part of a commercial arrangement between several firms and its commercial arm Antrix Corporation Limited, run under the auspices of the Indian Government's Department of Space. Launch PSLV-C37 was launched from the First Launch Pad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota at 09:28 IST on 15 February 2017. Earth observation (EO) is the gathering of information about the physical, chemical, and biological systems of the planet Earth. It can be performed via remote-sensing technologies (Earth observation satellites) or through direct-contact sensors in ground-based or airborne platforms (such as weather stations and weather balloons, for example). According to the Group on Earth Observations (GEO), the concept encompasses both " space-based or remotely-sensed data, as well as ground-based or in situ data". Earth observation is used to monitor and assess the status of and changes in natural and built environments. DIDO-2
DIDO-2 (aka Chen Jiayong 1, COSPAR 2017-008BE) is a nano-satellite of the Israeli/Swiss company SpacePharma. The nano-satellite is part of a research project whose goal is to test a miniaturized end-to-end pharmaceutical laboratory (called mGnify lab) in space under microgravity conditions. The project includes two satellites called DIDO-1 and DIDO-2. The platforms of the 3U CubeSats are developed and built by the Dutch company ISIS.
