BET (France)
BET France is a French TV channel owned to Paramount Global, it is the French version of BET in the United States. It was launched on November 17, 2015 in France. In France since the end of June 2012, a BET Break box is broadcast every day with ' and ' on MTV. In October 2015, the launch of BET France was announced for November 17, 2015. This information created a controversy because of the absence of black animators on a historical community channel. After weeks of negotiations, an agreement was reached between the ViacomCBS and Canal groups, the Canal Group retains the BET channels, MTV Hits France and J-One. The channel's voiceover is China Moses. 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Nickelodeon Junior is a French 24-hour television channel broadcasting to France and Switzerland for a toddler audience. It is the French equivalent of Nick Jr., though with its French branding meeting domestic language policies, along with "Nick" sounding similar to a French profanity. The French language Belgium version is called simply Nick Jr. The channel was first announced on 26 November 2009. At launch, it used an ident package similar to the one used on the American Nick Jr. channel (months before the other international Nick Jr. feeds did so), although Moose and Zee were not present on the French version of the network. China Moses (born January 9, 1978, in Los Angeles) is an American singer and television host. Life and career Born in Los Angeles, California, China Moses is the daughter of jazz singer Dee Dee Bridgewater and director Gilbert Moses. She released her first single "Time" (1996) at the age of 18, along with her first video directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino. Standard-definition television (SDTV, SD, often shortened to standard definition) is a television system which uses a resolution that is not considered to be either high or enhanced definition. "Standard" refers to it being the prevailing specification for broadcast (and later, cable) television in the mid- to late-20th century, and compatible with legacy analog broadcast systems.
