BBC Breakfast News
''Breakfast News'' was a breakfast news programme which first aired on BBC1 on 2 October 1989. The programme was previously known as '' Breakfast Time''. It was planned to launch on 18 September 1989 but was held back by two weeks due to technical issues with its new studio. The programme adopted a rolling news format with news summaries every 15 minutes plus weather and regional news every 30 minutes. Other features included a review of the day's newspapers and regular business news updates. From 22 November 1989, following the commencement of televised coverage of the House of Commons the 8am to 8.15am part pf the programme was simulcast on BBC2 as part of a new news hour which encompassed a review of the previous day's proceedings at Westminster. The programme went through three main visual changes. The initial look lasted until 8 April 1993. BBC News

Sara Coburn
Sara Coburn (born 25 December 1962 in Northern Ireland) is a journalist, and a business presenter on BBC Breakfast and the BBC News (TV channel), BBC News channel. Career Coburn joined the BBC in 1985. Her first role was as a reporter with BBC Radio 4's The World At One and PM (Radio 4), PM programmes. She began to specialise in business journalism in 1987 when she joined Channel 4's Business Daily as a producer, but returned to the BBC in 1989 to present BBC One, BBC1's flagship Business Breakfast alongside Paul Burden. She co-presented with Burden for a number of years, working on both domestic and international business stories. Julie Etchingham
Julie Anne Etchingham (born 21 August 1969) is an English journalist who works as a television newsreader with ITV News. A graduate of Newnham College, Cambridge, Etchingham joined the BBC as a trainee after completing her studies, and went on to present the children's news programme ''Newsround'' in 1994. She joined Sky News in 2002, and also presented editions of ''Five News'' when Sky won the contract to produce news programming for Channel 5 in 2005. Etchingham is currently a newscaster on ''ITV News at Ten'' and has been since 2008.
