BARS or Combat Army Reserve of the Country (russian: Боевой Армейский Резерв Страны - БАРС) is a Russian military reserve force implemented since 2021. BARS troops have been used in the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine
On 24 February 2022, in a major escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War, which began in 2014. The invasion has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths on both sides. It has caused Europe's largest refugee crisis since World War II. Kuban Cossacks (russian: кубанские казаки, ''kubanskiye kаzaki''; uk, кубанські козаки, ''kubanski kozaky''), or Kubanians (russian: кубанцы, ; uk, кубанці, ), are Cossacks who live in the Kuban region of Russia.
