''BAO 3'' is a studio album by Swedish folk group Benny Anderssons Orkester, released on 24 October 2007. It is the group's third studio album and their fourth release in total. Album information Being a typical Benny Anderssons Orkester album, ''BAO 3'' (the title indicates that it's the third BAO album) includes many different musical styles, ranging from Swedish folk music to pop, jazz, classical tunes, and Viennese influences. The album is officially credited to "Benny Anderssons Orkester, Helen Sjöholm & Tommy Körberg", indicating that it also includes several tracks with vocals. In fact, compared to its studio predecessor, ''BAO!'' in 2004, the number of vocals tracks has increased. Seven out of the 12 tracks on the album are sung by either Helen Sjöholm or Tommy Körberg or as a duet. Benny Anderssons Orkester
Benny Anderssons orkester (also known as BAO, Benny Andersson Band) is a Swedish band, with Benny Andersson as musical leader and composer. The band was formed in mid-2001 by 16 people, some from Orsa Spelmän, and Helen Sjöholm and since 2004 Tommy Körberg as singers. The name literally means "Benny Andersson's orchestra". "Little Things" is a song by ABBA, released on their 2021 album '' Voyage''. It is the third track on the album. It was released as a single on 3 December 2021. Background and synopsis The song was written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, who contributed music and lyrics respectively. The song is partly based on "Godnattvisa" ("lullaby" or "cradle song"), an instrumental by Benny Anderssons Orkester, released on the album '' BAO 3'' in 2007. It was announced in December 2021 that all of the band's royalties earned from the song in the next five years would be donated to UNICEF, the United Nations agency responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide. ''The Seeker'' is a song written by ABBA composers Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson towards the end of the group's career. The song was however not recorded by ABBA, but was 'given' by the composers to be included in the 1983 London staging of the originally French musical "Abbacadabra", based on 14 of the group's songs. "You Are My Man" is a song performed by Benny Anderssons orkester and Helen Sjöholm on the 2009 album ''Story of a Heart''. The song is an English version of the Swedish song "Du är min man", also performed by Benny Anderssons Orkester and Helen Sjöholm but on the 2004 album ''BAO!''. The music was composed by Benny Andersson and both the Swedish and the English versions are written by Björn Ulvaeus. In 2005 the song won Guldklaven for Song of the Year ("Årets låt"). Svensktoppen "Du är min man" entered the Swedish Svensktoppen on 11 July 2004 and stayed in the top 10 until it failed to chart on 8 November 2009, totaling 278 weeks on the chart.
