B. J. Askew
Bobby DeAngelo Askew Jr. (born August 19, 1980) is a former American football fullback. He played college football as the University of Michigan. He ranks first all-time among Michigan running backs in reception yards. Askew was selected in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the New York Jets, the first out of eight fullbacks taken in the draft. He has also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. High school years Askew attended Colerain High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was a letterwinner in football, basketball, and track & field. Fullback (American Football)
A fullback (FB) is a position in the offensive backfield in gridiron football, and is one of the two running back positions along with the halfback. Fullbacks are typically larger than halfbacks and in most offensive schemes the fullback's duties are split among power running, pass catching, and blocking for both the quarterback and the other running back. Many great runners in the history of American football have been fullbacks, including Jim Brown, Marion Motley, Bronko Nagurski, Jim Taylor, Franco Harris, Larry Csonka, John Riggins, Christian Okoye, and Levi Jackson. Mike Alstott
Michael Joseph Alstott (born December 21, 1973), is a former American football fullback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Nicknamed "A-Train", he played college football at Purdue and was selected by the Buccaneers in the second round of the 1996 NFL Draft. Alstott received six Pro Bowl and three first-team All-Pro honors during his career, in addition to being part of the Buccaneers team that won the franchise's first Super Bowl title in Super Bowl XXXVII. A draft is a process used in some countries (especially in North America) and sports (especially in closed leagues) to allocate certain players to teams.
