B'z (album)
''B'z'' is the debut studio album by the Japanese rock duo B'z. It was released on September 21, 1988 and reached #47 on the Japanese charts. The album sold 3,790 copies in its first week and eventually sold 338,360 in total. The band did not tour in support of the album, because its nine songs were all the material they had at the time, and they felt it would not be a proper show with just 40 minutes of material. Unlike the hard-rocking music that most associate with B'z, the album was very much a product of its times, with synthesizers and samplers sharing equal time with Tak's guitar. One single was released from the album, "Dakara Sono Te o Hanashite," which released on the same day as the album. Pop Rock
Pop rock (also typeset as pop/rock) is a fusion genre with an emphasis on professional songwriting and recording craft, and less emphasis on attitude than rock music. Off The Lock
''Off The Lock'' is the 2nd studio album by the Japanese rock duo B'z. The band's first-ever "Live Gym" tour was in support of this album, and despite them being relatively new, tickets were sold out, a taste of what was to come. It was the second album they released for BMG Victor's Air Records imprint. "Off the Lock" sold 4,590 copies in its first week and 604,700 copies throughout its chart run. Koshi Inaba
(born September 23, 1964 in Tsuyama, Okayama) is a Japanese vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. He is best known as the singer and lyricist of the rock duo B'z, the best-selling music act in their native Japan. He has also had a successful solo career, with five studio albums and five singles topping the Japanese music charts. He collaborated with Slash on single " Sahara" which was released in 2009. In 2017, he released a collaborative album, '' Chubby Groove'', with Stevie Salas under the name "Inaba/Salas". Early life Koshi Inaba was born and raised in Tsuyama, Okayama, and enrolled in Yokohama National University's Faculty for Education in 1983 to become a qualified mathematics teacher. Inaba made his musical debut in 1985 whilst still a student, contributing vocals to Toshiya "Ran" Matsukawa's album ''Burning ~Dedication to Randy Rhoads~'' under the stage name Mr. Crazy Tiger. Tak Matsumoto
is a Japanese musician, songwriter and record producer. He is best known as the guitarist and main composer of the rock duo B'z, the best-selling music act in their native Japan. He also has a successful solo career where, in addition to winning several Japan Gold Disc Awards, he won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album for ''Take Your Pick'' (2010), which he made in collaboration with Larry Carlton. Matsumoto is only the fifth guitarist in the world to have his own Gibson signature model guitar. Career Matsumoto was inspired to pick up a guitar at the age of 13 when he heard Eric Clapton's playing on The Beatles song "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" for the first time. is the second single by B'z, released on May 21, 1989. The single did not chart on the Oricon Singles Chart and has since been played live very few times. It's the first song by the band to have a tie-in, being featured as the ending theme for the TBS TV drama ''Haimisu de Warukatta ne!'' ''Bad Communication'' is the first mini-album by the Japanese rock duo B'z, released in 1989. The song was the first hit song for B'z. The album also includes the band's first two "E-Style" versions of previous hits—in this case "Out of the Rain" and "Dakara Sono Te Wo Hanashite", both from their debut album. It charted on number 12 at the weekly albums chart list by Oricon, and by 1992 was certified as a million seller by RIAJ.
